Come join the Cattaraugus County District of the American Red Cross of Southwestern NY rebuild lives across Cattaraugus County by participating in our first ever 5k Walk/Run for the Red at the Allegany River Trail on the Saint Bonaventure Campus! Proceeds will benefit local programs and services in Cattaraugus County.
This is an exciting new way to raise money for Disaster Relief and other programs that benefit the citizens of Cattaraugus County.
Turn in or pre-register with $40 in sponsorships the day of the race and you will receive a t-shirt. A complimentary brunch will be provided after the race.
Form a team! Teams are a great way to build a sense of teamwork while demonstrating your community involvement. Organize groups of 4 or more people from school, churches, workplace or other group—all ages are encouraged to join! Choose a team name, choose a team captain, pre-register your team with us, set a team fund raising goal, start collecting contributions and you are set! Teams of 4 that raise at least $150 will receive t-shirts. The team that raises the most money will receive a special award.
Fill out your contribution form and your registration form and return it to us. Your contributions will be counted, and your applicable prizes will be available at the registration table on the morning of the race! You may also bring in your sponsor form on the day of the race, but we may have to order your shirt if enough is not available. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the Red Cross. We look forward to working with you to achieve this goal!
